MAY 7, 2008 – SAN ANTONIO, TX CorEMR attended two national conferences for the corrections industry this month. CorEMR traveled to San Antonio, Texas for the NCCHC conference and to Sacramento, California for the AJA spring conference. This year’s conference allowed CorEMR to introduce the latest release of our software program. The focus of the show was on the education and support of correctional medical staff across the nation. In addition, the show was an exceptional venue to receive feedback and insight to where the medical records services could improve. CorEMR will also be attending the fall conference in Chicago. For more information on the NCCHC visit their site at www.ncchc.org.

CorEMR also attended the AJA spring conference held in Sacramento, California. The American Jail Association (www.aja.org) focuses more broadly on the administration of correctional facilities. CorEMR demonstrated the integration of our program with varying Jail Management System’s (JMS’s) available on the market. Both conferences are an annual part of the research and development of the CorEMR platform. We believe that understanding the trends and needs of the correctional system’s staff is key to making an optimized and efficient program.

CorEMR began in 2004 to provide correctional facilities with affordable electronic medical records. Our management team has 6 years of experience specifically in jail and prison EMR/EHR management and over 30 years of experience in software design.
